It is my great pleasure to warmly welcome you to the Faculty of Engineering.

Our Faculty offers degree programmes in Civil Engineering (CVE), Computer Engineering (CPE), Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE), Mechanical Engineering (MEE), and Mechatronic Engineering. All our programmes are fully accredited by the National Universities Commission (NUC) and the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN). They are carefully designed to foster specialization, while also allowing students the flexibility to take approved courses across related fields. Beyond technical expertise, our programmes are tailored to cultivate in our students a broad human perspective, preparing them to meet the demands of a dynamic society. I am confident that studying with us will provide you with the skills, versatility, and intellectual grounding you need to achieve your full potential as an engineer. Our Faculty is proud of its community of about 50 full-time academic staff, including 15 distinguished Professors. Many of them earned their advanced degrees from world-class universities and bring with them a wealth of international experience. They are supported by highly skilled technical and administrative staff who ensure the smooth running of our teaching and research activities. Our curriculum blends rigorous coursework with stimulating, hands-on laboratory experiences that are both engaging and practical. At the postgraduate level, we offer the Postgraduate Diploma (PGD), Master of Engineering (M.Eng.), and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Civil Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. These programmes are delivered by erudite academic staff and supported by a dedicated team of non-teaching professionals. The curricula are regularly reviewed to address contemporary societal challenges and to remain responsive to emerging global trends. As part of our vision, we are committed to strengthening relationships with our alumni, employers, partners in industry, and the broader community. We also encourage continuous feedback and collaboration to further enrich our programmes and opportunities.
